Ogum & Oya continues the Entities cycle as a duo: iron and storm, blade and wind. The chains become both weapon and passage, a material vocabulary for forces that cut, open and clear the way.

ABOUT

The performance works with repetition, weight and sudden reversal. Bodies are held, dropped and carried by the steel, letting the archetypes appear as movement qualities rather than as costume or representation.

Rooted in Afro-Indigenous cosmologies, the piece treats ritual as a technology of memory — a field where ancestry becomes present tense.
